Practice good hygiene

Diet matters, too
A fad diet is never going to work no matter what you do, but do focus on eating fresh, healthy foods and minimize or eliminate processed foods, junk foods, and that sort of thing. Your skin needs a good food source for good health (just like the rest of your body does), so focus on fresh healthy food with plenty of fruits and vegetables, complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and some “good” fats like omega-3 fatty acids and monounsaturated fats.
Cutting down on the grease and oil in your diet can also help minimize breakouts, since oil provides a perfect medium for them to occur in. DO include small amounts of healthy fatty acids like omega-3 fatty acids and monounsaturated oils, though.
